Entre el 6 y el 8 de febrero se celebra en Berlín una nueva edición de Fruit Logística, la feria referente del sector a nivel mundial. En esta ocasión Perú es el país invitado. Perú se ha convertido en los últimos años en uno de los principales proveedores de productos hortofrutícolas a escala mundial, productos que destacan por su alta calidad, su frescura y excelente sabor.

Perú exporta 842 millones de toneladas de frutas y hortalizas frescas por un valor de 1.120 millones de dólares y participa en Fruit Logística de forma ininterrumpida desde el año 2003.

En los últimos años el sector agroexportador se ha consolidado en el país sudamericano y se caracteriza por la gran variedad de oferta del sector y ha permitido al país posicionarse a nivel internacional. De hecho, entre los días 6 y 8 de febrero presentará en la ciudad alemana todo su potencial.

En once años las exportaciones de frutas y hortalizas de Perú han pasado de 201 millones a 1.120 millones de dólares con un incremento medio anual del 27%. La Unión Europea, con el 42%, y Norteamérica, con el 40%, son sus principales destinos. En el sector ya se asocia la imagen de Perú a frutas y hortalizas de calidad tales como uvas de mesa, espárragos, aguacates, mangos, bananas y cítricos. Sin embargo, existen otros productos con enorme potencial de crecimiento como las granadas y las chirimoyas. Perú presentará sus productos en el hall 25, donde contará con un pabellón de más de 500 m2, donde 65 empresas y las principales organizaciones de la agroindustria peruana y sus asociaciones del sector se verán representadas. PROMPERU se encarga de coordinar con las asociaciones y empresas peruanas su participación en la feria.

Perú guest country of Fruit Logística

Between 6 and 8 of Februar will be held in Berlin a new edition of Fruit Logística, the reference fair of the sector worldwide. This time Perú is the guest country. Perú has become in recent years one of the main suppliers of horticultural products worldwide, products that stand out because of their high quality, its freshness and excellent taste. Perú exports 842 million tons of fruits and vegetables worth 1,120 million dollars and participates in Fruit Logística uninterruptedly since 2003.

In recent years the agro-export sector has consolidated itself in the South American country.

The Peruvian horticultural commerce is characterised by a great variety of supply of the sector and has allowed the country to position itself to international level. In fact, among February 6 and 8 will present its potential in the German city.

During eleven years the exports of fruits and vegetables of Perú have gone from 201 million to 1,130 million dollars, is to say, have experienced an average annual increase of 27%. The European Union with 42% and North America with 40%, are the main purchaser countries of the Peruvian products. In the sector the image of Perú is already associated to fruits and vegetables of quality such as fresh table grapes, asparagus and avocados, mangos, bananas and citric fruits. However there are other products with high potential growth as grenades and custard apples. Perú will present its products in hall 25, where it will have a pavilion of more than 500 square meters, where 65 companies and the main organizations of the Peruvian agribusiness and its associations of the sector will be represented. PROMPERU is responsible for coordinating together with the associations and Peruvian companies the participation in this fair.
